Grandson Photos Oct 09

We had a wonderful day with our grandsons on Sunday. Here are some great photos of them both. William just loves his little brother and so does Harvey love William as you can see from this photo. Harvey is now 5 weeks old and growing in leaps and bounds. Harvey just loves to sleep and eat, he slept all day just like the photos through all the noise in the middle of everything.
Take care all karenxx

Stencil Cards - Free Demo

On 16th October we were very fortunate to have Julie from The Stencil Specialists come and show us all the wonderful ways she uses her stencils. Julie embossed, coloured, sprayed, glittered and flocked her way through the day. Thanks Julie for a wonderful day. Here are some cards I have made from the samples Julie did for us on the day.

With this card you use gloss cardstock and your stencil and colour in with chalk inkpads with gorgeous results.

This card is created using the memory mists sprays and stencil excellent result.

This card was created using double sided sticky paper (jac paper) and double stenciling. Your first stencil you use black flocking, then on your second stencil you use the hot pink flock, remove your second stencil and sprinkle glitter on the remaining sticky area. Brilliant results don't you think.

This card was created using two stencils, first opened stencil background was coloured and then the embossing medium was used on the second stencil overlayed. While wet sprinkle glitter on your embossing medium.

This card was created with double sided sticky paper (jac paper), glitter and flock. The result is stunning don't you think.

A BIG THANKYOU JULIE

Grandie & Grandma With the Boys

My husband has had to put up with only girls in the family and it is like a breath of fresh air to have two grandsons now. Everytime his grandson is born he goes and buys him a fishing rod and a football for when they get bigger. He is looking forward to going fishing and playing football with Harvey also. Just the three of us Harvey, William and Grandma. William just loves his new little brother.

New Grandson

The newest addition to our family. Our new beautiful baby grandson Harvey Douglas, born 19th Sept 09, 8.7lbs or 3860 gms. William his brother is so excited he has a new brother to play with. Unfortunately all Harvey does is sleep and eat and William is a little disappointed that he can't play with him. He'll just have to wait until he gets a bit bigger for that.

All are healthy and settled into their family life. Hopefully we will get to see Harvey with his eyes open soon.
